Greeting Time
Early care arrivals take place between 8:00–9:00 a.m. Regular drop-off takes place between 9:00–9:15 a.m.
Parents should sign their child in upon arrival. We encourage families to develop a brief, positive, and consistent drop-off routine to help children transition smoothly into their day.
As children arrive, they may explore a provocation set out by the teachers, engage in classroom activities, or make choices from various learning centers. When weather permits, children may also spend time in our outdoor play space.
Morning Snack
9:30–10:00 a.m.
Children enjoy a healthy snack together at classroom tables with their teachers. To create a calm, safe, and relaxed eating environment, teachers often read stories aloud while children eat. This quiet time fosters a peaceful classroom atmosphere while also supporting language development and a love of books.
